"I've been looking for a legit Mexican place... and it's been right under our noses the whole time!" This place is a stone's throw away from our home. We have been here twice in two months and I still have no pictures because, both times, we devoured the food before we took any. Everything is good but the consommé that comes with the birria tacos is exceptional, and those tacos are no sleepers either. Heartily recommend them: 4 for $10. 5/5 You also must try the tamales 6 for $10. I like the green tamales with chicken better than the red with pork because they are juicier. These are also chunky unlike the puny kinds you see on stores. Also 5/5. The gigantic tortas are obviously what they're known for - they're their namesake - and they're good. The hot sauce it comes with makes them fire. And while my favorites are the two above, that's just due to personal preference. The tortas are good and there's a lot of them. All in all, this is a spot you want to visit if you want legit Mexican food. Ole!
I absolutely love this place. The ladies are always real nice. Food is never a disappointment. The Pambazo is my go too.. if you're into luchadores the vibes and decor is a MUST SEE.. During lunch time there is a bit of a wait but nothing super crazy... DEFF A MUST TRY for huge tortas
Food portions and taste are superb. These tortas are huge! The decor is awesome. Reminds me of some of my visits to Mexico and the Luchador vibes are great. Order ahead/ quick and easy pick up.
Visiting from Cali stop by this place !!! Food and service was amazing those tortas were huge!!!
3.5 cute mom and pop torta shop with la luchador memorabilia that's neat. Their tortas are big. My husband and I got one that was 19 dollars plus tax which had hot dog, Milanese, some chorizo, etc. We shared the torta and still didn't finish it. I will say though I wish it had some jalapeño or something. They do give salsa on the side. The elote in the cup was very meh. Lots of cheese but no hot sauce or sides of chili powder. Probably canned corn. Would skip. There's a torta place on bingle that we think has more flavorful tortas but these were good and closer to us. We'd come here for tortas again. I saw they also have birria and would like to try that next time.
The food was AMAZING the service was great they checked up on us to make sure everything was good definitely will be coming back I'm glad we discovered this amazing delicious place the food definitely is a must try!!!!
The food was great! The service was also good. The music was a bit loud for my family, my son had to put noise canceling headphones. They do have some outside tables, just to keep the loudness in mind before going. My entire family LOVED the churros. The tortas are definitely big, shareable. We ordered a few different ones since it was our first time and they were all really good. Everyone agreed that we enjoyed the food enough to go back but maybe just sit outside now that patio season is starting soon. Definitely give this place a chance!!
Wanted to try this restaurant out and it was everything I needed. The torta was huge and packed so I know it was made with love. Fresh tasting ingredients so it didn't feel like left overs. Bread was fresh so overall I was happy with the meal. Try all the verietys of salsa! Sorry no photo the food was to good to wait up.
This place is charming! The entire restaurant (which is not big) is dedicated to the owner's lucho libre interest. Such a fun decor collection of lucho libre memorabilia complete with masks, posters, and autographs. Sooo the food. Uffffff. For $14, you get a GIGANTE torta that I swear is an entire loaf of bread, a full 14" or so. Gigante for real! Lol I wanted to try the chicken (pollo) because I eat a lot of beef. More than I probably should. It was loaded proportionally with lettuce, tomato, melted cheese and avocado slices. I respectfully doused it with green salsa. The elote is good, too! Although it's pretty hard to mess up elote since it's 3 ingredients. :)
Good giant tortas. Great value for the price, four people can easily eat with two tortas. The ingredients could be better quality though. Fast service and order was filled accurately. Small restaurant with a few tables, well decorated with a "luchador" theme. Fairly authentic food.
